  14. nesses of  steel.  Working  with
  15. pieces both thicker and thinner,
  16. you will notice that you have to
  17. change your techniques somewhat.

  20. from  right  to  left.  How thin
  21. gauge steel can you weld? See if
  22. you can  weld  1/4"  thick steel

  64. pieces of round tubing.  You can
  65. use  old  American-made  bicycle
  66. frame tubing again.
  67.     Miter  one  of  the tubes to
  68. fit  against  the  other  with a
  69. large  rat-tail file. Try to get
  70. a fit  accurate  within 1/8" all
  71. the way around. Weld them toget-
  72. her as indicated, let them cool,
  73. then smash  them  apart  with a
  74. hammer.
